This policy explains how Tarotalk processes information when you use our website, accounts, AI tarot readings, subscriptions, and related support. Tarotalk is designed for entertainment, reflection, and personal exploration and does not provide medical, legal, financial, investment, psychotherapy, or other professional advice.
2. Information we collect
We may process questions you submit, selected readers and cards, reading and conversation history, feedback, account details, language and preference settings, subscription and order status, support messages, and information you choose to provide.
We may also collect device and browser data, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, access times, referring pages, interactions, cookies, local storage identifiers, and security or diagnostic logs. Payment providers generally process complete payment credentials; Tarotalk may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing country, and limited payment-method details.
3. How and why we use information
We use information to provide and personalize readings, save history, operate accounts and subscriptions, process orders, respond to support requests, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, measure and improve the service, meet legal obligations, and send service communications. Where required, optional analytics or marketing is based on your consent.
4. AI service provider
Tarot card interpretations are performed by AI. The current AI service is supported by DeepSeek. To generate a reading, Tarotalk may send the question, selected cards, relevant conversation context, language, and response settings to the AI service provider. Do not submit information that is unnecessary for the reading.
5. Sensitive information
Do not include identity documents, complete payment-card details, passwords, exact home addresses, private medical records, another person’s confidential information, or other highly sensitive data in a tarot question. Share only what is necessary for the reading or support request.
6. Cookies and local storage
Tarotalk may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, sign-in, security, language and reading preferences, analytics, and advertising where enabled. You can control non-essential technologies through available consent controls or your browser, although disabling essential storage may prevent some features from working.
7. Service providers and international processing
We may share only the information needed with providers that support AI generation, hosting, analytics, security, customer support, advertising, and payments. Their processing may occur in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards. Providers may also process information under their own privacy notices when they act independently.
8. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including account operation, transaction records, security, dispute resolution, backups, and legal compliance. Retention periods may vary by data type and legal requirement.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures such as access controls, encrypted transmission, limited permissions, and monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid submitting unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and may have the right to complain to a data-protection authority. We may verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
10. Children
Tarotalk is not directed to children. A minor should use the service only with a parent or guardian’s knowledge and permission and should not submit real names, contact details, school information, addresses, identity documents, family secrets, or other sensitive information. We will take appropriate steps if we learn that information was collected contrary to applicable law.
